To run The Nameinator, we store your account email and name, the worksheets you upload (temporarily, deleted after generation or within 24 hours), and — only if you choose to sync a Google Classroom roster — the names of the students in the course you select. We do not store student email addresses, grades, or submissions.
If you sign in with Google or connect a Google account, The Nameinator requests read-only access to your Classroom course rosters and permission to create files in your Google Drive. We can only see and create files that The Nameinator itself creates — we cannot browse your existing Drive contents.
Uploaded worksheets are deleted once your worksheets are generated, or automatically within 24 hours. Synced roster data is cached for convenience and can be cleared from your account settings at any time.
We do not sell your data or your students' data. We do not use uploaded worksheets or student names for any purpose other than generating the worksheets you asked for.
